Job Description:
- Should be able to repair, assemble and install components for hydraulic systems.
- Should maintain and overhaul hydraulics and related components.
- Must have the capability to read and interpret equipment manuals, mechanical and electrical schematics, and other specifications to determine the repair method on failed components.
- Should be able to replace or repair defective components, using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
- Should be able to assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment using hand or power tools.
- Should rebuild install and align pump assemblies utilizing safe rigging methods using hand or power tools
- Must execute preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Should have the ability to make field repairs on centrifugal and diaphragm pumps.
- Must perform electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic system inspections following established procedures or other written or verbal instructions.
- Should be able to calibrate control units on PLC machines.
- Must report unusual problems or conditions to supervisor.
- Must observe company safety rules and regulations.
- Should be able to perform, as assigned, other similar or related duties.
- Must operate metalworking machines to fabricate housings, jigs, fittings, and fixtures.
